Ladakhi women wash up after dinner on 1st June 2009, in a 200 year old kitchen after dinner with friends, family and guests of a home stay programme with a traditional Ladakhi family in Ulley Valley. The village is not accessible by road. The home stay program is managed by 'Snow Leopard Conservation Organisation', an NGO that helps families in the mountains that face constant snow leopard attacks on their live stock. Ulley is located in the region of Ladakh, located in the Indian Himalayas, in the northern state of Jammu and Kashmir. Photo by Suzanne Lee
